Requirements

  • Has completed a regionally accredited bachelor's degree  with a biology or chemistry major OR 30 biology and chemistry semester credits in or added to the bachelor's degree OR an equivalent international credential
  • Overal GPA AND cognate science GPA both 2.50 or higher on a 4.00 scale
  • Meets the MLS Program Essential Functions
  • Had completed all prerequisites prior to first registration

Tuition & Fees

  • Application fee: $30
  • Tuition: $450 per credit (1–4 credits per class)
  • Distance fee: $155 per semester
  • Textbooks: $200 per class

What to Expect

  • The Technologist in Hematology Certificate requires 15-18 credits.
  • Upon completion students receive Technologist in Hematology Certificate (no degree is awarded) and are eligible to write the Technologist in Hematology Certification as sponsored by ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology).
